Carbon thermoplastic organo sheets

Organo sheets are thin-walled, fully consolidated fibre thermoplastic semi-finished products. They consist of fabrics embedded in a thermoplastic plastic matrix, which are compressed. The advantage of the thermoplastic matrix is the hot formability of the semi-finished products. The moulding method comes from sheet metal processing and has been refined for composite materials.

Our carbon thermoplastic organo sheets are used in demanding applications and comprise carbon fibre fabrics combined with a PEEK or polyamide matrix. Other thermoplastics are available on request.

Fibre orientation available as 0/90° and a multidirectional fibre structure with orientation of 0/90/ +- 45°.
